Hi, I’m Sana! 👋🏽

A Toronto-based Biomedical illustrator, Designer and Animator 🧠🫁🫀

As a visualization specialist with advanced expertise in design, medicine, art, and technology, I collaborate with healthcare professionals, researchers, editorial publications, pharmaceutical corporations, and science-focused businesses to transform complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible visual narratives.

I hold a Master’s degree in Biomedical Communication from the University of Toronto-one of only four accredited medical illustration programs in North America. This rigorous program specializes in scientific and medical visualization, equipping me with the skills to develop high-impact illustrations, motion graphics, 2D/3D animations, and UI/UX designs that enhance understanding and communication in science and medicine.

As a freelancer and entrepreneur, I am passionate about leveraging visual storytelling to advance medical research, scientific discovery, and public education. I am always seeking innovative opportunities to create compelling visual content that bridges the gap between specialized knowledge and diverse audiences, from healthcare professionals to patients and the general public.

Have a project in mind? Let’s work together! 👩🏽‍💻

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to visualize a complex biological process. Maybe you’re turning cutting-edge research into an engaging animation. Or perhaps you have a medical story to tell; one that educates, inspires, or advances understanding. Whatever your vision, the way you communicate science—through striking visuals, dynamic motion, or compelling narrative—can make all the difference.
